  Picturesque Cafe in the old city centre of Ravenshoe. The coffee wasn't really special but the atmosphere around it made it a nice experience.

  Good food however a bit pricey (toasted chicken and cheese was $7-50). Friendly service. Appears well patronised local establishment.

  I didn't come here for the coffee or service. I was looking for a place to sit and read and work in peace for a few hours and this place more then delivered. My only issue was the cold. It was the month of July and freezing but there was no heating. The vintage historic feel of The Popular Cafe made it really authentic.

  I for one won't put foot back in the store. Owner was rude & unhelpful, food was overpriced & very ordinary. Very disappointed as a tourist in this sleepy little town. Spent heaps everywhere else while in Ravenshoe supporting the friendlier shop owners. The place looks lovely but do not judge a book by its cover!

  My take away coffee was good and the cafe has a nice feel. There were a good number of people there when I came through so looks well attended. Will have to come back through with the family as my daughter would love the cat that was lounging in one of the couches.
